戒學

The study of the rules or discipline; one of the three departments [lang id =1028]三學, the other two being meditation and philosophy.

為穫得聖果而鬚勤修的三學之一， 又作增上慧學。 乃學佛者所必修。 戒可修善， 并防止身、 口、 意所作之惡業。 參閱‘三學’條。

戒者， 禁戒也。 謂能防止身口意所作之惡業， 故名戒學。
